JBL Tour One M3 Noise Cancelling Headphones

Genuine JBL | Flagship Over-Ear Headphones | Hi-Res LDAC | Up to 70 Hours of Battery

The JBL Tour One M3 is JBL's flagship over-ear headphone, built for people who want strong noise cancellation, Hi-Res wireless sound and very long battery life in one pair. Available in Kenya from Mega Store Kenya as an authentic JBL product, this guide covers what the M3 offers and who should buy it. It's for shoppers searching "JBL Tour One M3 Kenya," "best noise cancelling headphones Nairobi," "Hi-Res wireless headphones Kenya," or "Tour One M3 price."

Key features at a glance

These figures come from JBL's published specifications and independent reviews. Ask our team to confirm the details of the exact unit you're buying.

Noise cancelling that adapts to where you are

The M3 uses eight microphones for its noise cancellation, with True Adaptive ANC 2.0 adjusting in real time to the noise around you. In practice, that means it responds to a change from a quiet office to a loud street, instead of using one fixed setting. Reviewers describe it as effective against wind, traffic and office chatter. It's not the strongest in the class, and some rivals cancel more on flights, so if absolute silence on planes is your top priority, compare before you buy.

When you want to hear your surroundings, the JBL Headphones app offers Ambient Aware and TalkThru modes, which let outside sound in or lower your music when someone talks to you.

Battery life that lasts a work week

This is the M3's biggest strength. JBL rates it at up to 70 hours with noise cancelling off and up to 40 hours with it on. For a daily commuter, that can mean a week or more between charges. A 5-minute quick charge adds about 5 hours, and a full charge takes about 2 hours over USB-C. For anyone who regularly forgets to charge overnight, or travels with limited power access, that matters.

Hi-Res sound, wired or wireless

The M3 has 40 mm mica dome drivers, tuned for deep bass, balanced mids and clear highs. For wireless listening, it supports LDAC, a codec that sends roughly three times more data than standard Bluetooth audio, which lets compatible phones deliver Hi-Res 24-bit sound. Note that LDAC works with phones that support it. Many Android phones do, but iPhones don't use LDAC, so iPhone users will hear the standard Bluetooth codec instead.

For wired listening, the USB-C connection uses the headphone's built-in DAC, and a 3.5 mm cable lets you plug into any headphone jack, including in-flight entertainment systems.

Calls and everyday use

The microphone system is designed for clear calls, with adaptive beamforming to pick out your voice. That suits remote workers and anyone who takes calls while commuting. The M3 also supports Auracast, a newer Bluetooth feature for broadcast audio, which will matter more as compatible devices become common.

Comfort and build

At around 278 grams, the M3 is a full-size over-ear headphone, with soft cushions and a closed-back design that adds passive isolation on top of the active noise cancelling. It's built for everyday adult use, not rugged outdoor conditions.

What's in the box

JBL sells the Tour One M3 in more than one configuration, and some versions include an extra audio transmitter accessory. Confirm with our team exactly what comes with the unit you order, including cables and any case.

Who the Tour One M3 is for

Commuters and frequent travellers who want long battery life and strong noise cancelling.

Android users with LDAC phones who want Hi-Res wireless audio.

Remote workers who spend hours on calls.

Anyone upgrading from JBL's Live range who wants JBL's top headphone.

Tour One M3 vs Tour One M2

The Tour One M2, also available at Mega Store Kenya, costs less. The M3 adds LDAC Hi-Res wireless, newer noise cancelling and a much longer battery life. If you use an iPhone, the LDAC benefit won't apply to you, so the M2 may offer better value. See our Tour One M2 page for the comparison.

Tour One M3 vs Sony WH-1000XM6

Sony's WH-1000XM6, also in our range, is the main rival. Reviewers generally rank Sony's noise cancelling stronger, while JBL offers longer battery life and a lower price. Choose Sony if noise cancelling is the priority, and JBL if battery and value matter more.
