Refurbished Nintendo Switch OLED – 6-Month Warranty

Refurbished & Fully Tested | 6-Month Mega Store Warranty

At Mega Store Kenya, the Nintendo Switch OLED remains one of our most requested gaming consoles — Nintendo's refined take on the original Switch, built around a genuinely larger, richer 7-inch OLED display and doubled internal storage, all while keeping the same beloved handheld-to-TV flexibility that made the Switch a global phenomenon.

The OLED Screen: A Genuine Visual Upgrade

This is worth explaining properly, since it's the headline reason this model exists. The original Switch used a 6.2-inch LCD panel; this OLED model steps up to a 7-inch OLED screen — genuinely richer colours, deeper true blacks, and noticeably improved contrast compared to the LCD original, a real visual upgrade every time you play in handheld mode. Every unit Mega Store Kenya sells is tested to confirm the OLED panel is functioning correctly before it reaches you.

Doubled Storage, Genuinely More Room for Games

The Switch OLED ships with 64GB of internal storage, double the original model's 32GB — genuinely more room for digital game downloads before you need to rely on a microSD card, particularly relevant given how many Switch titles are sold primarily as digital downloads today.

Full Technical Specifications

An Honest Note on Performance

Worth being transparent about this: the Switch OLED uses the same internal processing chip as the original Switch — this model is genuinely a screen, audio, storage, and dock upgrade, not a performance upgrade. Games run identically to how they would on a standard Switch; if raw gaming performance is your priority rather than screen quality, that's worth knowing upfront. Every console Mega Store Kenya lists is described honestly against exactly what it offers, not what it doesn't.

The Wide Adjustable Stand: A Genuine Tabletop Improvement

The redesigned dock stand is worth its own mention — where the original Switch's kickstand was a thin, somewhat flimsy strip prone to snapping, the OLED model's wide, full-width adjustable stand is genuinely sturdier and offers a real range of viewing angles for tabletop multiplayer sessions, a small but genuinely appreciated refinement.

Who This Console Is Genuinely Right For

Buyers who play primarily in handheld mode — the OLED screen upgrade is felt every single time you play away from the TV.

Families wanting a genuinely versatile console for both TV-based and portable gaming.

Anyone upgrading from an original Switch or Switch Lite who wants a real, noticeable visual improvement.

Buyers who download games digitally and want the extra breathing room 64GB provides before needing a microSD card.

Refurbished Switch OLED vs a Brand New Unit

Choosing a refurbished Switch OLED through Mega Store Kenya gets you the identical hardware and OLED screen experience as buying new, at a meaningfully more accessible price — every unit is tested for screen function, Joy-Con responsiveness, dock connectivity, and battery health before it's listed.
