Why a phone SSD

Phone storage is expensive to upgrade. Shooting 4K video, RAW photos or long recordings fills it quickly. A phone SSD lets you offload files and, on supported phones, record straight to the drive. It's popular with content creators, event videographers and anyone who films a lot on their phone.

Check your phone first

Direct recording and external drive support depend on your phone and its software. Many recent iPhones with USB-C and many Android phones support external drives, but features vary. Tell us your phone model and we'll confirm what it can do with this drive.

Who it's for

Content creators and vloggers who film on a phone.

Event videographers who shoot long clips.

Anyone who is always out of phone storage.

Creator Phone SSD vs Extreme Portable SSD

The Extreme Portable SSD (E61), also in our range, is a standard rugged portable drive. The Creator Phone SSD is smaller, lighter and made to stick to a phone.
