What the Balance 2 offers

It combines a large, scratch-resistant screen with long battery life and strong GPS. Dual-band GPS tracks more accurately in cities and under trees than single-band GPS. At 43 g, it's light for a 1.5-inch watch. The 10 ATM rating means it handles swimming and water sports.

Balance 2 vs Balance 3

The Balance 3, released in June 2026, keeps the same screen size, resolution, sapphire glass and about 21-day battery, but adds a brighter 3,000-nit display, more storage, a newer processor, a physical flashlight and extra buttons. Reviewers say the Balance 2 is the better choice if its price is lower or you prefer the smaller case. See our Balance 3 page.

Balance 2 vs the original Balance

The original Balance, also in our range, has a smaller 475 mAh battery rated for about 14 days and uses tempered glass. The Balance 2 improves on that.

Who the Balance 2 is for

Buyers who want sapphire glass and dual-band GPS at a mid-range price.

Runners, gym-goers and swimmers who want long battery life.

Anyone who wants a large, bright screen in a light watch.
