What it offers
The Watch 6 focuses on health and everyday use. It tracks heart rate, blood oxygen, sleep and stress, offers ECG, and adds Huawei's X-TAP sensor, which supports opt-in health-risk studies through the Huawei Research app. Huawei says these are research tools, not diagnostic tools, so treat the results as information to discuss with a doctor and not as a diagnosis. The watch also has AI workout analysis and over 100 sports modes.
Battery
Battery life is a few days, not weeks. Huawei rates the 42mm at about 3 days and the 46mm at up to about 4.5 days. That is typical of a premium AMOLED smartwatch with GPS, and less than Amazfit's long-battery models in our range.
Android and iPhone
Huawei lists support for both Android and iOS. Some features, such as app availability and payment options, can differ by phone and region, so tell us your phone model and we'll confirm what works.
Who it's for
Buyers who want a premium-feeling watch with strong health sensing.
Runners and gym-goers who want dual-band GPS.
Android and iPhone users who want one watch for both.
Watch 6 vs Watch 6 Pro
The Watch 6 Pro, also in our range, adds a ceramic or titanium case, a brighter display up to 3,500 nits and an expedition app, for a higher price. The core sensors, GPS and battery figures are the same size for size.
