Saints Row – PS5

A fresh reboot of the chaotic crime franchise — Saints Row reimagines the series' origin story with a new cast in the fictional city of Santo Ileso.

Product Description

Saints Row (2022) was developed by Volition and published by Deep Silver, releasing in August 2022 as a full reboot of the long-running open-world crime series. It tells a fresh origin story following a new group of friends building their own criminal empire, the Saints, from the ground up in the fictional Southwestern city of Santo Ileso, blending the series' traditional over-the-top action and dark comedy with a somewhat more grounded tone than the increasingly absurdist later entries in the original continuity.

Deep character customization and a wide variety of vehicles, weapons, and side activities continue the franchise's core open-world crime gameplay loop. Reception at launch was mixed, with reviewers noting technical performance issues and criticism that the reboot's tonal shift toward a more grounded story didn't fully capture what made earlier entries in the series distinctive, alongside praise for its character customization depth and open-world design.
