PS5 Slim 1TB Disc Edition – Refurbished

Sony recently announced a hike in their PlayStation 5 consoles, arguing it on the recent rise on parts such as RAM storage worldwide, this they argue has made the production cost to go up, thus affecting the retail price of their consoles. However, getting a refurbished console can reduce the price for clients since these were in the market already before the price hike.

In Kenya, a PS5 Slim 1TB Disc edition costs Kshs. 75,000/-, compare to a new one that is currently retailing at Kshs. 98,000/-

Product Description

The PS5 Slim redesigns the original PS5 into a smaller, lighter chassis while packing in 1TB of storage — noticeably more than the original 825GB model. This disc-edition unit supports both physical game discs and digital downloads, refurbished and tested to deliver reliable current-generation performance at meaningful savings over new pricing.

Why choose refurbished over new here?

The PS5 Slim's redesigned internals perform identically to a factory-new unit once cleared through proper testing — there's no gaming-performance trade-off, only savings from buying a previously opened box. Every console we list undergoes disc-drive, port, and overheating testing, and comes with our 6-month store warranty, giving you real protection a private sale can't match. It also arrives with all original accessories and one DualSense controller included.

A quick note on genuine vs. "chipped" consoles:

This unit is fully genuine and unmodified. We don't sell chipped consoles, since installing a modchip voids all manufacturer warranty coverage, risks a permanent PSN ban the moment it goes online, and typically involves unlicensed game copies. A genuine PS5 Slim like this one keeps full PlayStation Network access, update eligibility, and resale value intact.
