What a reMarkable is, and isn't
A reMarkable is a digital notebook, not a tablet. It's made for writing, sketching, reading and annotating documents on an e-ink screen that feels like paper, without notifications to distract you. You sync notes to your phone and computer. It isn't for web browsing, video or apps. Some cloud features, including unlimited storage, need a paid reMarkable Connect subscription. Strengths and limits
The screen is much smaller and the battery is smaller than the Paper Pro's. It can't take the Type Folio keyboard case, which is only for the larger Paper Pro. A small screen is less comfortable for large PDFs and for long handwritten pages.
