Need for Speed Unbound – PS5

Street racing with attitude — Need for Speed Unbound blends realistic car handling with vibrant, graffiti-inspired visual effects and a heist-driven story.

Product Description

Need for Speed Unbound was developed by Criterion Games and published by Electronic Arts, releasing in December 2022. Set in the fictional city of Lakeshore, it follows a street racer building a reputation and bankroll to enter "The Grand," a high-stakes annual race, through a series of underground races and heist-style qualifying weeks against rival crews and pursuing police.

The game's most distinctive feature is its stylized visual presentation — car movements and drifts trigger vibrant, animated graffiti-style effects layered over otherwise realistic environments, blending arcade racing energy with an artistic, street-culture aesthetic. The PS5 version delivers enhanced ray tracing, faster loading, and DualSense haptic feedback simulating road texture and drift tension.
