Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 9 – Brand New

Genuine Harman Kardon | Distinctive Circular Design | Rich, Detailed Sound

The Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 9 brings a genuinely distinctive circular design to the portable speaker category, built to double as a stylish home audio piece as much as a speaker you'd take along for a gathering. Available in Kenya from Mega Store Kenya as an authentic Harman Kardon product, this page is for buyers searching "Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 9 Kenya," "stylish Bluetooth speaker Nairobi," "circular design speaker Kenya," or "Onyx Studio price."

Harman Kardon, Not JBL: Worth Clarifying Directly

Harman Kardon and JBL are sister brands under the same parent company, which sometimes causes the two to be confused with each other, particularly where both appear in the same retail catalogue. Harman Kardon is generally positioned around refined sound quality and premium, design-led aesthetics, distinct from JBL's more rugged, bass-forward positioning covered throughout the rest of our audio catalog.

A Speaker Designed to Be Seen, Not Just Heard

The Onyx Studio 9's circular, upright design, built around a substantial integrated aluminium handle, is a genuine design statement, intended to sit comfortably on a shelf or side table as a considered piece of home decor, alongside delivering genuinely full, detailed sound.

Automatic Sound Calibration

A genuinely useful, practical feature: the Onyx Studio 9 automatically calibrates its sound output to its surroundings each time it's powered on, helping it sound its best whether placed against a wall, in an open room, or on a shelf, without you needing to manually adjust settings.

Auracast Multi-Speaker Pairing

The Onyx Studio 9 supports Auracast, a Bluetooth technology that lets you wirelessly pair two or more compatible speakers together for wider, synchronised sound across a room or between two Onyx Studio 9 units specifically, genuinely useful for buyers wanting to expand their sound setup over time.

Dual Device Pairing

It pairs with up to two mobile devices simultaneously, letting two people take turns playing music without needing to disconnect and reconnect each time.

Built-In Carry Handle

Despite leaning toward home use, its handle makes it genuinely easy to move between rooms, or bring along occasionally, without being a dedicated rugged outdoor speaker.

Who the Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 9 Is Right For

Buyers who want a speaker that looks as good as it sounds, as part of genuine home decor.

Anyone prioritising refined, detailed home listening over rugged outdoor portability.

Buyers considering building a multi-speaker Auracast setup over time.

Onyx Studio 9 vs JBL's Speakers

JBL's Extreme and Boombox lines, covered elsewhere in our catalog, prioritise rugged, outdoor-ready portability and punchy bass. The Onyx Studio 9 prioritises home-focused sound, distinctive design, and Harman Kardon's more refined sound signature.
