What a reMarkable is, and isn't
A reMarkable is a digital notebook, not a tablet. It's made for writing, sketching, reading and annotating documents on an e-ink screen that feels like paper, without notifications to distract you. You sync notes to your phone and computer. It isn't for web browsing, video or apps. Some cloud features, including unlimited storage, need a paid reMarkable Connect subscription. Strengths and limits
The colour is E Ink Gallery 3, so colours look muted, like a printed page, and refresh more slowly than a normal tablet screen. It isn't a general tablet: no web browser, no apps, no Bluetooth listed, and a screen light that can't change colour temperature.
