What's new compared with the original T-Rex Ultra
- A battery that's 74% larger, from 500 mAh to 870 mAh, with weight almost unchanged.
- Grade 5 titanium instead of the previous stainless steel.
- A much brighter display, reaching 3,000 nits, about three times the earlier model.
- 64 GB of storage and native navigation, so you can preload maps instead of importing files.
- A real LED flashlight, instead of using the screen as a light.
- Checkpoint alerts, which let you mark waypoints such as water sources, shelters or turnaround points.
