Ghost of Yōtei – PS5

The spiritual successor to a modern classic — Ghost of Yōtei brings a new protagonist and a fresh tale of revenge to the snow-capped peaks of Ezo.

Product Description

Ghost of Yōtei was developed by Sucker Punch Productions and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment, releasing as a PS5 exclusive in October 2025. Set generations after the events of Ghost of Tsushima, it follows a new protagonist, Atsu, on a quest for vengeance across a beautifully rendered recreation of the Ezo region (modern-day Hokkaido) surrounding Mount Yōtei, in the early 17th century.

Building on the acclaimed foundation established by Ghost of Tsushima, the game continues Sucker Punch's commitment to striking, painterly visual presentation and satisfying, stance-based swordplay, while introducing a new setting, protagonist, and story distinct from Jin Sakai's tale, reflecting the studio's approach of an anthology-style expansion of the wider "Ghost" concept rather than a direct narrative sequel.
