Final Fantasy VII Rebirth – PS5

The epic continuation of the Final Fantasy VII Remake saga — Final Fantasy VII Rebirth expands the story beyond Midgar into a vast, open world.

Product Description

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth was developed and published by Square Enix, releasing as a PS5 console exclusive in February 2024. It's the second entry in the multi-part remake project reimagining the legendary 1997 RPG, continuing directly from Final Fantasy VII Remake as Cloud Strife and AVALANCHE leave Midgar to pursue Sephiroth across a vast, open recreation of the original game's wider world.

The game significantly expands the hybrid real-time/strategic ATB combat system introduced in Remake, adds substantial open-world exploration with side activities, mini-games, and character-relationship content, and continues the story with expanded character development and narrative beats not present in the 1997 original. The game received widespread critical acclaim, frequently cited among the best games of 2024, particularly for its combat depth, character writing, and the ambitious scope of adapting the original's middle section into a full, standalone open-world experience.
