The Last of Us Remastered – PS4

One of the most acclaimed games ever made — The Last of Us Remastered brings the emotionally devastating original to PS4 with enhanced visuals.

Product Description

The Last of Us was originally developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony Computer Entertainment, releasing on PS3 in 2013 to overwhelming critical acclaim, with The Last of Us Remastered following on PS4 in July 2014, featuring improved visuals, higher frame rates, and additional bonus content including developer commentary and the standalone "Left Behind" DLC prequel story.

The game follows Joel, a hardened survivor, tasked with escorting Ellie, a fourteen-year-old girl who may hold the key to a cure, across a devastated United States two decades after a fungal pandemic collapses civilization. Combining tense, resource-scarce survival combat against both infected creatures and desperate human survivors with a deeply character-driven narrative, it's frequently cited as one of the medium's finest examples of storytelling, particularly for the evolving, morally complex relationship between its two central characters.

The Last of Us Remastered received near-universal critical acclaim and has consistently appeared on "greatest games of all time" lists in the years since its release, praised especially for its writing, voice acting, and the emotional weight of its story, cementing its status as a defining title of its console generation and later spawning both a direct sequel (The Last of Us Part II) and an HBO television adaptation.
