Sniper Elite V2 Remastered – PS4

The remastered original that defined tactical WWII sniping — Sniper Elite V2 delivers precision long-range combat and the series' signature X-ray kill cam in 1945 Berlin.

Product Description

Sniper Elite V2 was originally developed by Rebellion Developments and released in 2012, with a remastered edition (Sniper Elite V2 Remastered) arriving on PS4 in 2019 featuring updated visuals and technical improvements. It follows an American OSS agent operating in the ruins of Berlin during the final days of World War II, tasked with preventing German V2 rocket technology from falling into Soviet hands.

The game established several conventions that would define the wider Sniper Elite series: detailed ballistics accounting for bullet drop, wind, and gravity over long distances, combined with the franchise's signature "kill cam" — a slow-motion X-ray view showing bullets tearing through enemy anatomy on particularly impressive long-range shots. Its atmospheric, war-torn Berlin setting and methodical, patience-rewarding gameplay established the tactical sniping formula the series continued to build on in later entries.

The remastered edition was well received as a faithful, technically improved re-release of a well-regarded original, appealing especially to fans who wanted to experience the series' roots or revisit it with modern visual fidelity.
