PS5 Standard 825GB Disc Edition – Refurbished

Product Description

The original PS5 with disc drive delivers Sony's full next-generation gaming experience — near-instant load times via its custom SSD, ray tracing support, and 4K/120fps capability, alongside 4K UHD Blu-ray playback. This refurbished unit has been thoroughly tested and verified before sale, giving you genuine current-generation performance at meaningful savings over new pricing.

Why choose refurbished over new here?

A PS5's custom SSD and processor perform identically whether the unit is factory-sealed or professionally refurbished — there's no meaningful gaming-performance gap, only a price gap driven by the box being opened. Every console we sell is tested for disc-drive reliability, port function, and overheating before listing, and comes with a 6-month store warranty for genuine peace of mind. This is especially valuable for a console at this price point, where a private, untested secondhand purchase carries real financial risk if something's wrong. You'll also receive all original accessories and one DualSense controller, so nothing extra needs sourcing.

A quick note on genuine vs. "chipped" consoles:

This unit is entirely unmodified. We don't sell chipped consoles because that kind of tampering voids all warranty coverage, risks a permanent PSN ban, and typically involves unlicensed software. A genuine PS5 like this one keeps full access to PlayStation Network, system updates, and resale value — none of which survive a modchip installation.
