Prince of Persia The Lost Crown – PS5

A stunning Metroidvania reinvention — Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown introduces a new hero and a beautifully realized Persian mythological world.

Product Description

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown was developed and published by Ubisoft, releasing in January 2024. It reimagines the long-running franchise as a 2.5D Metroidvania, introducing Sargon, a sword-wielding member of an elite group called The Immortals, who journeys to the cursed, time-corrupted citadel of Mount Qaf to rescue the kidnapped Prince Ghassan.

The game combines acrobatic platforming, deep combo-driven combat, and Time Power abilities that let you manipulate the flow of time to solve puzzles and defeat mythological creatures, across a richly detailed, interconnected world spanning multiple visually distinct biomes. Critical reception was very strong — reviewers widely praised it as one of Ubisoft's best releases in years, singling out its combat depth, level design, and striking visual presentation, with some noting occasional technical hitching on PS5 as a minor drawback.
