Judgment – PS5

A gripping legal-thriller detective story — Judgment brings the Yakuza series' creative team's signature blend of crime drama and quirky side content to a new protagonist and premise.

Product Description

Judgment was developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio (the team behind the Yakuza/Like a Dragon series) and published by Sega, with the PS5 "S" version delivering enhanced resolution and frame rate over the original PS4 release. It follows Takayuki Yagami, a disbarred lawyer turned private detective, as he investigates a string of grisly murders connected to Japan's criminal underworld in the fictionalized Kamurocho district.

Built on the same detailed city engine as the Yakuza series, the game blends detective-style investigation mechanics — tailing suspects, gathering evidence, and interrogation — with the series' signature over-the-top brawler combat and a wealth of quirky side content, from drone racing to arcade games, delivering a substantial single-player crime drama with genuine tonal range between serious mystery and lighthearted diversion.
