EA Sports FC 27 (PS4)

Genuine Release | Global Launch September 25, 2026 | Available at Mega Store Kenya

At Mega Store Kenya, EA Sports FC 27 is genuinely one of the biggest football titles of the year — the fourth instalment in the EA Sports FC series, launching worldwide on September 25, 2026, with over 21,000 players across 800+ clubs and national teams, 130+ stadiums, and 35+ leagues. This listing covers the PlayStation 4 version specifically, and it's worth reading carefully before you buy, since several of this year's headline features are genuinely exclusive to current-generation consoles.

An Important, Honest Note Before You Buy on PS4

This is worth stating plainly, because Mega Store Kenya believes in giving you the full picture before you spend your money. EA has confirmed that two of this year's most talked-about additions — The Grounds, a new social football playground built around a central Terrace connecting three districts, and Off-Balance Dribbling, a genuinely new gameplay mechanic — are exclusive to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. Neither feature is available on PlayStation 4. If these specific additions are what you're most excited about this year, our PS5 version is genuinely the correct choice instead.

What You Genuinely Do Get on PS4

None of this should discourage you from the PS4 version — it remains a full, genuine EA Sports FC 27 experience with substantial year-on-year improvements. This includes:

A rebuilt Manager Career transfer market, with real-world TransferRoom scouting integration — clubs now actively compete for players, and valuations and negotiations have been genuinely overhauled to feel more realistic than previous entries.

The FUT Gallery, a new Football Ultimate Team feature that tracks every player item that's passed through your club, letting you complete themed sets, raise your Gallery Level, and earn rewards.

Evolution Pathways, introducing genuine branching upgrade routes for certain Evolutions, giving you real choice over how your items develop rather than a single fixed upgrade path.

Refined core gameplay, including manual passing options, dynamic curved attacking runs, and reduced defensive assistance for players who want a more skill-based experience.

The full 21,000+ player database, with this year's headline-rated stars including Kylian Mbappé, Alexia Putellas, and Erling Haaland all rated 91 overall.

Who Should Genuinely Buy the PS4 Version

Buyers who own a PlayStation 4 and don't currently have access to a PS5.

Anyone who prioritises the core football simulation, Career Mode, and Ultimate Team over this year's social and dribbling additions.

Budget-conscious buyers who want this year's roster and core gameplay improvements without needing to upgrade their console.

PS4 vs PS5: The Honest Comparison

Mega Store Kenya sells both versions, and it's worth being direct about the difference: the PS5 version gets The Grounds and Off-Balance Dribbling as genuine, current-generation-exclusive additions, alongside the platform's faster loading and visual improvements. The PS4 version delivers the same core roster, Career Mode overhaul, and Ultimate Team features, but without those two specific additions. If you're deciding between the two and don't already know which console you own, check your PlayStation before purchasing — the two versions are not interchangeable.
