Terminator: Resistance – PS5

A faithful expansion of the Terminator's post-apocalyptic future war — Terminator: Resistance lets you fight alongside John Connor's Resistance against Skynet's machine army.

Product Description

Terminator: Resistance was developed by Teyon and published by Reef Entertainment, originally releasing in 2019, with the enhanced "Enhanced" edition delivering PS5-specific visual and performance upgrades. It's set within the Terminator film franchise's post-apocalyptic future war timeline, letting players experience the human Resistance's fight against Skynet's machine army firsthand as an original protagonist, Jacob Rivers, navigating the ruins of Los Angeles.

The game blends first-person shooter combat with light RPG elements — skill progression, crafting, and dialogue choices — delivering a faithful, atmospheric recreation of the iconic future-war setting glimpsed only briefly in the films. Reception was generally positive within its niche, particularly praised by longtime Terminator fans for its faithful adaptation of the franchise's future-war aesthetic and lore, while acknowledging its comparatively modest production budget relative to major AAA releases.
