Truck Driver – PS4

A relaxed, career-focused trucking simulation — Truck Driver lets you build a hauling business across a fictionalized American Pacific Northwest.

Product Description

Truck Driver was developed by SOEDESCO and published by SOEDESCO, releasing in September 2020. It offers a career-focused trucking simulation set across a fictionalized recreation of the American Pacific Northwest, tasking players with accepting delivery contracts, managing routes, and gradually building up a trucking business — purchasing and customizing new trucks and expanding operations as reputation and earnings grow.

Unlike more punishing simulation-focused entries in the trucking genre, Truck Driver leans toward a relaxed, narrative-light experience, with a loosely framed story following the player's character taking over the family trucking business, interspersed with radio dialogue and light narrative beats delivered during drives. Vehicle handling aims for a middle ground between arcade accessibility and simulation-style weight and momentum, and the game includes activities beyond pure delivery driving, such as towing and off-road detours, to add variety to its core gameplay loop.

Reception was generally modest but positive within its niche, with reviewers appreciating its relaxed pacing and approachable driving model for players wanting a lower-stress simulation experience, while some noted the game's scale and content depth were more modest compared to some other entries in the broader driving-simulation space.
