Genuine Samsung | QLED 4K Smart TV

The Samsung 85Q7FAAU is a 85-inch QLED 4K television running Samsung's Tizen smart platform. Available in Kenya from Mega Store Kenya as an authentic Samsung product, this page is for shoppers searching "Samsung 85 inch TV Kenya," "Samsung 85Q7FAAU Nairobi," "Samsung 85" smart TV price Kenya," or "85 inch QLED TV Kenya."

Key specs at a glance

Figures come from Samsung and retailer listings of the series. Samsung's model codes carry a letter for the model year and a suffix for the region, so ask our team to confirm the exact model code, region version and warranty of the unit you order.

What it's good at

The Q7F is Samsung's entry QLED: Quantum Dot technology gives richer, more accurate colour and higher brightness than a standard LED TV, and the Q4 AI Processor upscales and tunes the picture. It's a good step up for movies, sport and bright rooms.

What to know

The Q7F has a 60 Hz panel and no Mini LED local dimming, so contrast is not at Mini LED or OLED level, and it isn't aimed at 120 Hz gaming.

Is 85 inches the right size

A TV this size is large and heavy. Check your wall width, doors and stairs, and a stable stand or a wall mount rated for it. Ask us about delivery and mounting arrangements before you order.

A 85-inch screen is about 188 cm wide, and the TV is a little wider with its frame. As a rough guide, a viewing distance of about 2.2 to 3.2 m suits this size. Measure your wall and stand before you order.

Before you buy: tuner and region

TVs are sold in regional versions. Kenya's free-to-air digital channels use the DVB-T2 standard, and some imported models, such as US versions with an ATSC tuner, can't receive them. Ask our team to confirm that the unit is a version with a DVB-T2 tuner, or plan to use a decoder or streaming.

How it compares

The Crystal UHD U8000, also in our range, costs less. The M70H and M80H Mini LED models add stronger contrast and brightness. The Sony BRAVIA range, also in our catalogue, is a premium alternative.
