Refurbished Samsung Galaxy S20 128GB – 6-Month Warranty

Refurbished & Fully Tested | 6-Month Mega Store Warranty

The Galaxy S20 was genuinely a watershed release for Samsung — the first flagship to combine a 120Hz display with QHD+ resolution, the first smartphone anywhere to record genuine 8K video, and the debut of Samsung's Space Zoom system. Years later, refurbished, it remains a capable, feature-rich Android flagship at a genuinely accessible price.

120Hz at QHD+: A Genuine Technical Achievement

This is worth explaining, because it wasn't a trivial engineering feat at the time. Most early 120Hz phones had to drop to a lower resolution to sustain that refresh rate. The Galaxy S20's Dynamic AMOLED 2X display was among the first to offer a genuine choice between full QHD+ (3200 x 1440) resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate — a combination that pushed the boundaries of what mobile displays could do at the time, delivering both sharper detail and noticeably smoother scrolling and animation.

The World's First 8K Video Recording

The Galaxy S20 holds a genuine industry first: it was the first smartphone capable of recording video at 8K resolution (7680 x 4320) at 24fps — four times the pixel count of standard 4K. While 8K playback devices remained rare at the time, this gave the S20 genuine future-proofing and the ability to extract remarkably detailed still frames from video footage.

Space Zoom: Samsung's Zoom System Debuts

This generation introduced Space Zoom, combining the S20's 64MP telephoto sensor with AI-powered digital enhancement to reach up to 30x zoom. While the most extreme zoom levels rely heavily on digital processing rather than pure optics, the system's 3x hybrid optical zoom range delivers genuinely strong image quality, with the extended digital range offering real, if secondary, utility for distant subjects.

Wireless PowerShare: A Genuinely Useful Extra

The Galaxy S20 includes Wireless PowerShare, letting the phone itself act as a wireless charging pad for other Qi-compatible devices — genuinely useful for topping up a compatible smartwatch, earbuds case, or a friend's phone in a pinch, without needing to carry an extra charger.

Who This Phone Is Genuinely Right For

Buyers who want a genuine flagship-tier display — the combination of QHD+ resolution and 120Hz remains a strong, immersive experience for video, gaming, and everyday use.

Anyone interested in video capability — 8K recording and Super Steady stabilisation offer genuine creative flexibility.

Buyers who value expandable storage — the microSD slot lets you add significantly more storage cheaply, something increasingly rare on modern flagships.

Anyone wanting Samsung's core flagship experience at a genuinely accessible refurbished price point.

Galaxy S20 vs Galaxy S20+ (128GB)

Nearly identical core specifications and camera system — the S20+ steps up to a larger 6.7-inch display, a bigger 4,500mAh battery, and adds a dedicated DepthVision sensor for improved depth mapping and background blur in portrait shots. Choose the standard S20 for a more compact, one-handed-friendly size; choose the S20+ for a larger screen and longer battery life.

Galaxy S20 vs Galaxy Note 20 (128GB)

The Note 20 adds the S Pen stylus with genuinely low 9ms latency and productivity-focused Air Actions, at the cost of dropping to a 60Hz display and a plastic rather than glass back. If stylus functionality matters to you, the Note 20 is worth considering; if display smoothness and premium materials matter more, the S20 remains the stronger all-round choice.
