What 32-bit float means
Ordinary audio recording clips, or distorts, if a sound gets too loud, and you can't fix it later. 32-bit float recording keeps an enormous amount of headroom, so a sudden shout or a sound that's too quiet can be recovered in editing. For interviews, events and live shoots where you can't redo the take, that's a big safety net.
Why a backup recording matters
If the wireless signal drops, the transmitter keeps recording on its own, so you can recover the audio afterwards. Wireless signals can fail at crowded events, which is where this matters most.
Who it's for
Videographers and wedding and event shooters who work with cameras.
Podcasters and interviewers who want clean speech.
YouTubers and creators who record on the move.
