EA Sports FC 27 (PS5)

Genuine Release | Global Launch September 25, 2026 | Available at Mega Store Kenya

At Mega Store Kenya, EA Sports FC 27 on PlayStation 5 gets the complete, current-generation experience — the fourth instalment in the EA Sports FC series, launching worldwide on September 25, 2026, with over 21,000 players across 800+ clubs and national teams, 130+ stadiums, and 35+ leagues, plus this year's two headline additions that are genuinely exclusive to PS5 and other current-gen platforms.

The Grounds: A Genuine New Social Football Mode, PS5-Exclusive

This is worth explaining properly, since it's the single biggest new addition this year and it's specifically built for current-generation hardware. The Grounds is a new social football playground built around a central Terrace connecting three distinct districts — Montclair, Zeiza, and Parkside. Within it, you can play genuine one-on-one matches, join casual kickabouts, or team up with friends in Clubs, all while connecting with football mentors and expressing yourself both on and off the pitch. This mode, including its Clubs functionality, is only available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC — it does not exist on the PS4 version, so buying on PS5 through Mega Store Kenya is the only way to genuinely access it.

Off-Balance Dribbling: A Genuine Current-Gen Gameplay Addition

Alongside The Grounds, this year introduces Off-Balance Dribbling — a new gameplay mechanic that's also exclusive to PS5 and other current-generation platforms. It's part of a broader push toward more skill-based, authentic ball control, working alongside manual passing options, dynamic curved attacking runs, and dynamic corners to give players who want it genuinely deeper mechanical control over every touch.

What Else You Get: The Full EA Sports FC 27 Experience

Beyond the current-gen exclusives, the PS5 version includes every core improvement this year's release brings:

A rebuilt Manager Career transfer market, with real-world TransferRoom scouting integration — clubs now actively compete for players, and valuations and negotiations have been genuinely overhauled to feel more realistic than previous entries.

The FUT Gallery, a new Football Ultimate Team feature with a genuine 3D card display, tracking every player item that's passed through your club, letting you complete themed sets, raise your Gallery Level, and earn rewards.

Evolution Pathways, introducing genuine branching upgrade routes for certain Evolutions, giving you real choice over how your items develop.

Faster loading and stronger visual fidelity, taking genuine advantage of PS5's hardware over the PS4 version.

Who Should Genuinely Buy the PS5 Version

Buyers who own a PlayStation 5 and want the complete, current-generation experience.

Players who want the deepest mechanical control, including Off-Balance Dribbling and this year's other current-gen gameplay refinements.

Anyone upgrading from PS4 who wants every feature EA built for this generation, not a subset of them.

PS5 vs PS4: The Honest Comparison

Mega Store Kenya sells both versions, and it's worth being direct about the difference: this PS5 version includes The Grounds and Off-Balance Dribbling as genuine, current-generation-exclusive additions, alongside faster loading and stronger visuals. The PS4 version delivers the same core roster, Career Mode overhaul, and Ultimate Team features, but without those two specific additions. If you already own a PS5, this is genuinely the fuller, more complete version of this year's game.
