Which version is this
Amazon sells the 12th-generation Paperwhite in a standard 16GB model and a Signature Edition with 32GB, wireless charging and an auto-adjusting front light. A 32GB capacity normally means the Signature Edition. Ask our team to confirm that the unit we have is the Signature Edition, and what's in the box, before you order.

Is 32GB worth it
Books take very little space, so 16GB already holds thousands of them. The extra storage makes sense if you keep many audiobooks, large PDFs or comics, or want the Signature Edition's wireless charging and automatic light adjustment.
Before you buy: your books and your account
A Kindle works best with an Amazon account. Whether you can buy books from the Kindle Store depends on your country and account settings, so ask us what works in Kenya. You can also read your own files, such as PDFs, by sending them to the Kindle.
Who it's for
Heavy readers who keep a large library on the device.
Audiobook and comics fans.
Buyers who want the Signature Edition's extras.
