HP OmniBook X Flip 16" Intel Core Ultra 7, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD

KSH 140,800 | Model: AS0023DX | New Arrival | Genuine & Warrantied | Free Delivery in Nairobi

If you want a genuinely bigger canvas to work on — more screen space for side-by-side documents, spreadsheets, or media — without paying the premium HP charges for its top-tier Ultra Flip U7 line, the OmniBook X Flip 16" is built exactly for that gap. A real Intel Core Ultra 7 processor, 16GB RAM, and a full 1TB SSD, wrapped in a spacious 16-inch convertible body, at one of the more accessible price points in HP's current Ultra 7 lineup.

Why a 16-Inch Convertible Makes Sense for Many Buyers

Most 2-in-1 convertibles top out at 13 or 14 inches, trading screen size for portability. The OmniBook X Flip takes a different approach, offering the full 360° flip flexibility — laptop, tablet, and tent modes — on a genuinely larger 16-inch display. If you primarily use your laptop at a desk or in one location rather than carrying it between meetings all day, this larger canvas is a real, practical upgrade: more comfortable multi-window work, a better experience watching video or reviewing visual content, and simply less eye strain during long sessions.

Genuine Ultra 7 Performance at a More Accessible Price

It's worth understanding why this specific model sits noticeably below other Ultra 7 configurations in HP's lineup despite sharing the same core chip, RAM, and storage. The price difference generally comes down to HP's sub-line positioning — the OmniBook X series is positioned slightly below the premium OmniBook Ultra Flip line in terms of build materials, display technology, and additional features, while still delivering the same genuine Intel Core Ultra 7 processing performance. For buyers who care primarily about raw performance and screen size rather than premium display resolution or the most refined chassis materials, this represents genuinely strong value.

Who This Laptop Is Genuinely Built For

Buyers who want maximum screen real estate on a budget — the 16-inch display genuinely changes the experience of multitasking, watching media, or reviewing detailed documents compared to a 13–14" alternative.

Home or primarily desk-based professionals who don't need to prioritize portability and want the biggest, most comfortable screen available at this price point.

Value-conscious buyers who still want genuine Ultra 7 performance — you're not sacrificing processing power to get this larger screen at a lower price.

Anyone occasionally using convertible tablet mode for casual reading, media consumption, or presenting, without needing the most premium convertible hinge and display combination on the market.

OmniBook X Flip 16" vs the OmniBook X Flip Ultra 7 14" (KB0023DX)

Both share the identical Intel Core Ultra 7 chip, 16GB RAM, and 1TB storage — the difference is purely screen size, 16" versus 14", and the corresponding price gap that reflects it. Choose this 16" model if you want the largest possible workspace and don't need frequent portability; choose the 14" version if travel and portability matter more to you.

OmniBook X Flip 16" vs the OmniBook X-Flip 16" 2-in-1 (32GB/2TB, AS0033DX)

This is essentially the same laptop at its maximum specification — same 16" convertible body and Ultra 7 chip, but doubled to 32GB RAM and 2TB storage at a significantly higher price. If your budget allows and you genuinely need that extra headroom for heavy multitasking or large local file storage, the AS0033DX is worth considering. For the majority of buyers, this 16GB/1TB configuration already covers real-world needs comfortably.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is a 16-inch convertible too bulky for everyday carrying? It's noticeably larger and heavier than a 13–14" model — genuinely fine for occasional travel, but if you carry your laptop daily between multiple locations, a smaller convertible may suit you better.

What's the real difference between this and the 14" OmniBook X Flip Ultra 7? Purely screen size and the corresponding price difference — the Ultra 7 chip, 16GB RAM, and 1TB storage are identical.

Is this laptop good for watching video and media? Yes, genuinely — the larger 16" display is a real advantage for video, browsing, and visual content compared to smaller convertibles.

Does it support touchscreen and tablet mode like other OmniBook Flip models? Yes, the full 2-in-1 convertible design and touch support are included.

Is 1TB storage enough for most users? Yes — 1TB is genuinely generous and comfortably covers documents, media, and a large number of installed applications for the vast majority of users.

Can I pay via M-Pesa? Yes, M-Pesa and card payments are both accepted.
